The Outlands has secrets all over, whether it is the soil or the water, there is something to find and to wonder about. 

This time, we have found THE ENIGMATIC SUNDIAL, did you ever notice it? 

This solar clock is a center-point of Fjorda’s level, but why? Why is it there? Does it hold any secrets behind it? To be honest, we would have to share a bit too much information to tell and, as you might know, the Outlands are famous for its mysteries… We don’t plan on changing that now! 

This sundial has made us think, reflect even, about time, its use and its history. Do you know anything about them? Apparently these ancient artifacts were made in the time of the Egyptians to tell time -duh-, but in that moment of humanity’s history the time wasn’t quite like we perceive it nowadays. They did have 12 months, of 30 days each but their days were about 12 “hours” long (consisting with 2 hours each if we think about it from today’s perspective). These “hours” were called danna and they had 30 ges each (being one ges four minutes).

The sundials were something very much used by priests and other important people of those days and even though we have records dating from that time we can see sundials all over the world, in different civilizations and with different interpretations. 

But now we know this, what does it all even mean?! What is one of those things doing in the Outlands?!
